BigPaul, I fully understand your proud accomplishment on house ownership, a sense of belongings...Your hardworks finally is paid of...Wish you the best and full enjoyments in the years ahead. On a personal note, I learn my lesson from owning my first house. After pouring most of my life time saving into buying my first house is 1994, a truck ran into it within a month after I bought it. I had to live in the hotel for 3-monthes while repaired. Well, it was fixed and restored to its original condition (I made a few friends along the way, from the experience). The ultimate outcome, 10+ years later, looking back, is that (from an American proverb): \"Be careful of what you possessed, it may posssessed you\". So true, in the subsequenent years, afte the house was repaired, I lived the normal daily Amerian life, and felt in love with the great outdoors. FYI, a picture of my first/only house is attached. it was taken today. [此帖子已被 z-far 在 2007-7-9 8:01:56 编辑过] |
